JUNIOR BALL PERMISSION SLIP

Dear Class of 2027 Students, Parents & Guardians:

We are happy to announce this year’s Junior Ball will be held on Thursday, April 23rd, 2026, at the Park Ridge Marriott from 7:00-10:30 PM. 

If your child plans to attend, parents/guardians and students should visit My School Bucks (www.myschoolbucks.com) to reserve a seat at the Junior Ball and to sign the digital permission slip prior to April 10th. The cost of the dance is $82 per student.  If you are having trouble with My School Bucks, please contact Christina Dolan (cdolan@ccsd.edu).

If your child is purchasing a ticket for a date, the date MUST complete a permission slip form (attached to this email) and return it to South’s Main Office or email it to sato@ccsd.edu prior to April 10th.  Students are permitted to bring only one date.

Juniors who plan to attend the Junior Ball must be present in school on April 23rd for Periods 1-4.  Those juniors attending the ball will be excused from school after period 4 and no note is necessary. Furthermore, ALL Juniors will be excused from Periods 1 & 2 on Friday, April 24th without consequences. There will be a continental breakfast in Cafeteria 101/102 for the Juniors who choose to come in during Periods 1 & 2 on April 24th.

Our Junior Ball is alcohol and drug free.  The policy is explained in the attached Agreement of Expectations. Paying for your admission to the Ball confirms that you are agreeing to the Agreement of Expectations.

 Please note the following important information:

  • The cost of the Junior Ball is $82 per person, which includes appetizers, dinner, DJ, and photobooth with unlimited photos
  •  Payments must be made on My School Bucks prior to April 10th. https://www.myschoolbucks.com/ver2/getmain?requestAction=home    
  • The dance is from 7:00-10:30 PM.  Students should arrive no later than 7:30 PM and no one will be dismissed prior to 10:00 PM.
